After 27 years of being janitor, man become principal in same school
According to Fox News on Nov. 11, a Port Barre, Louisiana elementary school was named after its principal by the Saint Landry School Board.
Why was the school named after its principal?
The principal's name is Joseph Gabe Sonnier. He was a janitor at that school for 27 years.
At the same time Sonnier was a working as a janitor, he was also continuing his education. He not only earned a bachelor, but he went on to earn his masters degree as well.
The former janitor who is now a principal says,

This story shows that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. Principal Sonnier is admirer by his teachers and students at the elementary school. In fact, he is an object lesson and inspiration for so many who think they cannot succeed with their dreams.
